Chery exports tripled in 2006

Great news for Chery. They really finished 2006 in style with an almost triple number of cars exported. While Chery exported 18000 cars in 2005, the number sold outside of China in 2006 was around 50000. All in all, the total number of cars sold by Chery, in China and outside, was up by 61%. That's a huge increase and one can only hope that Chery will continue to grow like this in the years to come. Another good news is the deal that Chery made with Chrysler with a plan to make small cars for them, possibly for export in the US. Another good deal made by Chery in 2006 was the partnership with Fiat, which will receive around 100000 engines from the chinese company.
If we're talking about more then just Chery, then the total car export from China doubled compared with the last year.
