Chery reaches the 800,000 milestone

According to some chinese news sources, Chery Automobile reached the 800,000th car milestone and it was a Chery QQ6 car, a model launched last year. From the 50,000 cars made 5 years ago, to the 189,000 that were made 2 years ago and to the 300,000 Chery cars made last year, the chinese auto manufacturer continued to grow in size and reputation. At maximum capacity, the Chery plant can make 350,000 cars per year, 400,000 engines and 300,000 transmissions. The plans for 2007 are to export twice the number of cars they did last year. And the partnership that they're close to signing with Chrysler is another success of the Chery Automobile. They will make small cars for the american market, benefiting from the wide network of dealerships that Chrysler has.
All in all, it just keeps getting better and better for Chery.
